Gravity Plus USB Tail Light

This light has transformed my nightly rides in ways I never expected. It's not just about illumination; it adds a whole new level of safety and enjoyment. I never knew I needed it until I had it. Highly recommend!

I. Freaking. LOVE. this. light! While it's great for cars to see me slowing down, Mr Speedy McBikerbro will know when I'm breaking and won't crash into me. Beautiful design. Long lasting battery. Easy to take on and off.

I was really excited about getting this light, since I love all of my other PDW gear (ninja pump, power headlight), so I'm pretty bummed out that this doesn't work for me. My bike has an aero seatpost, and there's no good option to secure it. I tried using the seat stay bracket, but the light rubs against my wheels. Since my bike has dropped seat stays, it's not really a great option to have the light so low anyway. Trying to clip the light to my seat bag or strapping it to my helmet wasn't working well either. Kinda a bummer. Seems like a great light. I was really excited about the battery life...but it's basically a failed purchase for me.

This is a great light. Reliable, easy to use and sensitive braking feature. The only time this is not a great light is for roadie pack riding, where its courteous to use a low light setting because of pack riders riding on your wheel. For this instance I recommend Daybot which has low light steady setting, perfect for pack riding.

Great Reliable Light I have been using it for a whole season now, commuting every day with it as well as longer rides. The Braking aspect works great, much better than another light at the same price point. The light is plenty bright and gives me one more way to get drivers attention while in traffic and stopping. Battery live is as I would expect it to be, this is another great PDW product.

This is a great, bright light! Just like most of the PDW products I've tried, it's innovative and works well. To those who have commented/complained about the angle of the light when mounted on your seatpost, there is a screw that you can use to adjust the angle (it's mentioned in the directions that come with the light).

Great light - high visibility and excellent time between charges. Unaffected by rain (so far).

Great little light that attaches and removes very easily. Super bright and love that it is usb rechargeable. The accelerometer can be a little finicky... Working the majority of the time. Yes I calibrate it every time I turn it on. I've noticed that when I get out of the saddle it turns on and acts like I'm braking. I can understand the mechanics of that, the bike is moving around in a different manner. But it also seems that when I brake or don't brake it does the opposite of what it is intended. Again it works the majority of the time. I did think perhaps the road bike has an angled seat post but I would think that would've been accounted for considering it can be mounted in any direction. To be honest, I would buy it again. I just expected it to be much more reliable with its braking feature.

I purchased a PDW Gravity Plus Tail Light for my road bike. Took it out of the box and after charging attached it to my seat post. It was very easy to do and seems to be secure. Of course I immediately tested the accelerometer and it works well when braking. I use the light in the flash mode and recharge after about 15 hours ride time. I expect the flash will last longer, but charging is easy with the USB connector. The attachment to the seat post is easy but could be improved. Most road seat posts are slanted so when you attach the light it tends to project downwards. It is problematic when you also carry a saddle bag, depending on how its attached. It can still be easily seen by motorists but a fastener that 'tilts' the light up would be useful. I have turned the light upside down as it is more easily seen by motorists. I have riden in the rain but only for short periods of time so far. It seems water-resistant and the USB cover seems to work well but winter is coming! Good light, Useful brake light (which is quite hardy when riding in groups), works as directed, easily charged and attachment could be improved for better visibility.
