Angry Catfish x PDW - Social Ride 2024

Angry Catfish x PDW - Social Ride 2024
As summer draws to a close, we're still soaking up the good vibes from our most recent PDW event, co-hosted with our friends Angry Catfish in Minneapolis, MN.
Don't know Angry Catfish? You're in for a treat! They've got something special for all cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts, including sustainably sourced coffee and Wilde Bikes. It's a must-visit if you're in the Twin Cities. When they invited us to collaborate on a summer ride, we couldn't wait to join forces!
On August 28th, we met up at the shop for a 11-ish mile urban ride around the city. We had a massive turnout and perfect 75-80F degree weather. Look at all these fun folks:
Using the Chain of Lakes Trail System as a rough guide, we cruised around parkways and bike paths at a chill, no-drop pace:
Tunes were blasting, and dogs were being very good:
There is really something extra special about an epic summer bike ride in a place that has gnarly winters. You appreciate every moment out on the bike soaking up the lazy summer vibes.
Our ride was a loop that ended back at the shop, where ice-cold brews and raffle surprises from Portland awaited our riders!

The Rattlesnek Kej was a crowd fave! Congrats to all our winners!

Angry Catfish has a huge - and hugely awesome - team. Everyone who showed up from the shop and the cycling community was super positive and made for a great night. Huge thanks to all of you for your support, organization, and laughter. We can't wait to ride bikes with you again someday!
