I used this on my front wheel to get the fender closer to eliminate the visible silver L-bracket for a more sleek look. Never saw a hanger for the front fender that secures upwards, and didn’t want to expand the factory holes and add spacers.
-1 star because the head of the mounting screw is super close to the fender and can scratch the finish if not careful.

I put the Full Metal fenders on a specialized Sirrus bike and found I needed to order a special bracket and had to do more cutting and bending than I expected.
Once those issues were dealt with, the fenders are great. Light weight, stable and effective.

I agree with the Jason. Had I known this was an extra part I’d have to buy, it might’ve saved a hole from being drilled in my rear fender. I like PDW considerably, but a heads up that you may need to buy an extra part to make it work before you buy these not-so-inexpensive fenders would be nice.

Just wanted to vent my frustration about the absence of such a commonly needed piece such as this is missing from the standard parts that are included with a fender set. Perhaps my perspective is limited, but it’s truly frustrating to spend another $14 and wait an additional two weeks before I can ride in the rain. Maybe there’s a section that alerts you to pieces that may be needed if your fender bridge is oriented in one of two standard orientations, but I didn’t see it.
