The bell sound is superb - best ever. I bought one 10 years ago and it is still the best. I just bought 3 more. However, the reason I have given 4 not 5 stars is that the mount diameter is too small for my new handlebars and my wife's. I can put one on my old alloy bars but not on the new, which is what I bought it for. A bit sad because it is such a good bell..
