Awesome rack! Looks and feels very strong! The style and look is perfect for the bike I built. Love it!

This rack is great. I was looking for the perfect rack to fit my dog carrier and this was it. I really appreciated the customer service as they worked with me to find something that would work for my bike, and the carrier. I was dreading installation, but it was so easy!

I cannot say enough about this rack but mostly about this company. They are the most responsive and nicest and just all around best company I've worked with. So here's the story, I purchased this rack, it kinda didn't fit right and customer service worked with me until I did some adjustments and it was perfect, fast forward several and I mean a lot of years later I wanted to use the rack on a newer bike, honestly I sold the old bike and kept the rack, okay so this time it really didn't work. I emailed and I purchased this rack in 2017, I asked them about a longer attachment bar, do you have one I asked, well they replied what's your address and mailed one no charge, and guess what it fits! Like it's perfect and I'm rockin it! Who the flip does that, right? They do!

I bought myself a fabulous 630 cruiser and it’s cool retro vibe and flowing curves were calling out for something equally cool in a rear rack. A search from one end of the internet to the other turned up this pdw rack that is just perfect. It’s a heavy black steel contraption that complements the look of the bike with its intersecting curved lines that not only look good but support more weight than I’ll ever need. Installation was a breeze. I watched the video on their website to get the gist and from there it was a matter of maybe 20 minutes start to finish, nothing besides the included hardware needed. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and customer service at pdw is top notch. Now it’s time to start a new search for just the right bags to attach!
Thanks PDW!

Slapped this puppy on a 2020 Kona Dew. Looks sweet with the black matching the frame and wood matching the tan WTB sidewalls. Perfect fit, lightweight and easy to Install. Would highly recommend! Thank youpdw

Installation was quick, but required a second set of hands to make all of the pieces set. I had to use the clamps in lieu of fixing the upper screws to holes within the frame, and the bolts that were supplied were shorter than they could be.
All together, a solid piece that I look forward to using for the daily commute to school

This is a beautiful rack. It is super easy to install IF....it fits. It did not fit my bike. I have a Specialized Ariel, size XS. They stays were way too short to reach the rack mounts and couldn't even reach the tube so that I could use the alternative attachment clamps. Very sad, but am looking for a solution. Probably one of those things where they only tested it with men's bikes.

I spoke with Chris smitherman before buying one and it turned out great. I put this rack on my 2015 specialized 650b 27.5 tire hard tail with disc brakes. I did have to use a 1/4 inch spacer on the disc brake side. That's it. Looks bad @$$. I use this bike hunting and usually tie a full deer or half elk on the bike and push it out on ol logging roads that are gated. Time will tell if it can stand up to the stress. I'd definitely recommend this product. Thanks again Chris

I have this rack mounted on my Surly Disc Trucker. Installation was a snap using the supplied bolts, and adjustment was easy with the integrated seatstay connectors. The rack comes with clamps to attack to your seatstays if you aren't lucky enough to have a bike with brazed-on mounts.
This rack is made of steel, so if it ever breaks (doubtful), anybody with a welding set could fix it. The rack works fine with Ortlieb touring bags as well as my Avenir Softside (for fast grocery runs). These bags fit on my 56cm Disc Trucker and my feet don't hit the bags, which is mighty nice.
