We are a small team of cyclists who create beautiful, simple gear for everyday cycling. Since 2008, we've been developing gear that inspires cyclists to get out and ride. We design our products to be unique, memorable, and enhance the beauty of the bikes they are installed on. We donate at least 1% of our top-line revenue to nonprofit organizations that promote cycling in their communities.
Design Philosophy: Quality
We use durable materials built to last, and keep hundreds of small replacement parts in stock so you can easily repair your gear and keep it rolling, ride after ride.
Design Philosophy: Aesthetics
We design PDW products to be charming and memorable. In addition to its primary purpose, our gear serves to enhance the beauty of the bikes it’s installed on. Check out the unique shape and bamboo accents on the Everyday Rack, the classic vibe of the King of Ding Bell, and the simple contours of the Bodega Basket.
Design Philosophy: FUN
Lastly, but most importantly, we keep it fun! Having fun is why we ride bicycles - plain and simple. We design our gear for fun through playful designs like our whimsical bottle cages, silly product names like Bar-ista Cup Holder, Power Stance Kickstand, and Cork Chop Grips, and developing some goods that are just for decoration, like the Zit Bitz.

I used this on my front wheel to get the fender closer to eliminate the visible silver L-bracket for a more sleek look. Never saw a hanger for the front fender that secures upwards, and didn’t want to expand the factory holes and add spacers.
-1 star because the head of the mounting screw is super close to the fender and can scratch the finish if not careful.
Should be included for how expensive the fenders are.
Really, they need to redesign the hanger because both hangers are so similar they should be able to make 1 that can be converted to work between the two ways of attaching.
Agree with others that this part should either be included or an option when purchasing Poncho Recycled Fenders. Also, I purchased Poncho (57mm), with which the description says this part is compatible, but this product skips from 55mm to 65mm. The hanger that came with the fenders was fairly malleable, so I'm going to try the 55mm... Fingers crossed
It is annoying to not be included with the fenders by default. I'm also disappointed that it isn't clear if there are any different steps with this vs the original mount - it comes with parts that weren't in the original so I imagine there are some different steps, but I'll never know since there's no instructions that reference them.
I put the Full Metal fenders on a specialized Sirrus bike and found I needed to order a special bracket and had to do more cutting and bending than I expected.
Once those issues were dealt with, the fenders are great. Light weight, stable and effective.
I agree with the Jason. Had I known this was an extra part I’d have to buy, it might’ve saved a hole from being drilled in my rear fender. I like PDW considerably, but a heads up that you may need to buy an extra part to make it work before you buy these not-so-inexpensive fenders would be nice.

This is a good idea. We're going to work on illustrating the different styles of seatstay bridges and explain which style needs a different rear hanger.
Just wanted to vent my frustration about the absence of such a commonly needed piece such as this is missing from the standard parts that are included with a fender set. Perhaps my perspective is limited, but it’s truly frustrating to spend another $14 and wait an additional two weeks before I can ride in the rain. Maybe there’s a section that alerts you to pieces that may be needed if your fender bridge is oriented in one of two standard orientations, but I didn’t see it.
