What to expect:

We will meet at the Stub Stewart Hilltop parking lot at 9:00 am to sign waivers, go over scope of work, and discuss work party safety practices. We will then proceed to the mountain bike area and to the specific work site(s). There, we will distribute tools, discuss objectives for the day, and show how to use the hand tools on the trail. Hand tools (shovels, rakes, loppers, etc.) will be provided at the work site.

We will do trail work, rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast & dress appropriately.

Riders familiar with Stub Stewart can choose to bring their bikes and may ride back to the work site after checking in at Hilltop instead of hiking in.

What to bring:
Lunch (if BBQ is not your jam), water, snacks, and work gloves.

What to wear:

Boots
Sturdy work gloves (more than one pair is a good idea)
Long sleeved shirt, and layers for warmth
Rain jacket. Rain pants if you have them
Eye protection is recommended (cycling glasses, safety glasses, etc.)
A hard hat or your bike helmet

All skill levels welcome.. Kids welcome but leave your furry kids at home please.
