Full Metal Fenders - 700x30

I ride an 80's vintage Colnago roadie for transport and exercise. I live on a cycleway that I use a lot but the path stays wet for weeks after rain, so even on a nice day I get very wet. Hence the full metal road fenders. (mudguards in Australia). Just a tiny bit fiddly to fit to my bike as all the clearances are tight on the frame, but the well thought out fittings and most excellent instructions meant they went on perfectly. In use I was amazed there was not one rattle or any rubbing. Absolutely joyous at how dry I am after riding wet roads, not a drop gets on my feet or legs or back. Only once, when I hit a deep Puddle at speed did some water that splashed outward from the tyre blow back on my feet but it was minimal considering my speed and depth of the water. Best guards I've ever seen and used. Hard to imagine a better set up. Thank you PDW!

I ran these fenders for 2 years, all 4 seasons. They look great and are very well made. I had trouble with the z-bracket, which kept rubbing and broke 3 times, so switch to a conventional bracket if you can. In all honesty, though - I switched to plastic fenders (with a metal strip in the middle), and I would never go back. I really think that plastic is a better material for fenders because it is lighter and quieter. Sorry!

I've been rocking the "road" version of these on my race bike the past two rainy seasons. I love them! I just got the "city" version and I can't wait to put them on my commuter! This is an excellent fender that will keep you, and your buddy drafting behind you dry.

Rock solid set of fenders. Definitely worth paying a few extra bucks for a pair that will last. Minimal rattle, and once they're dialed you won't have any rubbing. Customer support is also fantastic if there are any issues!

These fenders take a little work to get set up, but the work is worth it because once they are on, they never have to be adjusted. I am not easy on my gear and they almost never get bent out of shape and nothing has broken yet! Even when I toss it in and out of the car, if things get bumped, the safety releases separate before anything breaks or bends! I love these fenders and recommend them to everyone.

I live in Singapore and ride 32miles round trip commute to work and these fenders do look great when fitted - More on that to come. I hope these will cope with the Monsoon's and more importantly multiple speed bumps and won't crack like the a previous set of Chromoplastic ones I had (different company). VERY IMPORTANT though for fitting.. Only crimp the mudguard bridge on the rear once you have made every other adjustment to make super sure the tire doesn't rub. It's kind of mentions this on the instructions however it could be clearer. I thought I had done it to the letter of the book, /video, however once you start making adjustments to the stays then bridge can move and then trying to straighten what you have crimped to then adjust the anti - rattle 3M tape is a nightmare. Final comment - I fitted the fender bot.. Some feedback the retaining bolt could be much shorter / lower profile and better designed as you have to use your best judgement on how far up the fender you can drill the holes without then having the retaining bolt hit the tire and you only once chance to drill the hole.

So easy to install, great custom look. Had them powder coated to match a repaint on my rain bike.
